I just watch a good movies and gonna write recap about it.
AI Love You a Japan movies with duration about 90 minutes.
A girl age around mid 20s reaching her phone to check her job application result in a fancy restaurant as patisserie assistant. She opened the email and read the content full of hope but She did not get the job.
So she still stuck at her current job as a dishwasher in restaurant kitchen, which she seems like frequently late arrive at work. She got scolded again by her supervisor. When she off to go to works, she always passing this blue house, she will stops for a while, gazing that seeming inhabited blue house, daydreaming.
Our girl here apparently is a clumsy one. She stumble easily. After she got scolded by her supervisor because being late, her good looking senior at work, asking her for help to carry some tray she stumble in front of him. Her good friends who working as a waitress teasing her , said she has some crush to that senior and told her to make a move quickly and give her a magazine where there is an article about her senior titled "A Young Genius Chef".
Back to her home at night, she waiting again for another reply from another fancy restaurant.
May I just say that I love her bear phone charging.
Her phone chime and she quickly look inside it accompanied by her best friends who happens to live under same roof.
The incoming email is not what her waiting for. It subjected "A.I Life Navigator".
'In such an important time, you got a spam message, what a bad omen'. Her friends said.
And in next seconds, she got the email she waiting for. She got rejected.
Her friend told her not too devote her life to a job. For a brief they sharing their own opinion regarding marriage.
For her friend marriage is a goal of happiness for a woman. But she doesn't thinks like that.
A flash scene where our heroine still in a young girl, a kid bake a cake for her family and got praised.
This is the initiator of her dream to become a patisserie. She looked her phone again, a catchphrase of that thought to be spam

"I will make your dream come true"

That making dream come true part intrigue her to install that program.

After installation, her phone froze . (Told ya, don't install something unknown to your phone).
While she seems like to regret her action, grunting and whining, a voice suddenly comes up. A male voice.
A voice speak to her from her phone, ask her whether she is fine.
The AI explained that it a chat software with artificial intelligence and ask her to give it a name.
Next time she can say its name to activate the AI. She thought this things quite interesting.
She gives it a name "Lavu" / "Love" because when you read AI in japanese it means Love.
The AI said to her that it will give its best support to help her to fulfill her dreams.
The next day, our heroine wants to learn more about this AI.
How this things gonna help her.
The AI shows all information about her, her history, her profile caused her to thinks is this prank? or maybe she in a some kind of shows.
But the AI explained is it not, and if she feels uncomfortable she can uninstall her.
She has doubts a bit, she also reluctant to uninstall it. In the end she keeps it. She wants to fulfill her dream.
By the way I really like how they shoot this movie, they shoot it from phone's view, from the AI's view. Just like american movie's "Searching" that most of the part they shoot it from computer screen's view. I find it interesting.
To support her, the AI asking her to make some sweets and give it to her supervisor to try it.
Day by day goes by with same task and same result. Make a different sweets everyday and give to her supervisor to try it.
But the supervisor always reject to try it and give her some harsh word.
Facing many rejections, she feels it is because she don't have the talent.
But The AI comfort her and told her, that it will grant her wish and try to find another way for her.
The AI told her to "fall in love", because the most important thing to become patisserie is a "Sense" and to increase this "Sense" she must fall in love.
Next day , she shows to AI, the senior in her workplace, that genius chef, a target for her to fall in love.
In the night, she introduce AI to her friends. By the way, our heroine name is Haruka. and the genius chef is Naoto.
Her friends agree with AI's theory regarding falling in love.
Next day, in kitchen , an early morning, just Haruka and Naoto. Haruka learn that Naoto success is because he working hard.
Even in his holiday, he will go to many restaurant, taste many foods the get inspiration. That moment Haruka gather her courage and ask him if next his off day to review foods, she wants to tag along.
In night, Haruka's friends name Kyoko praise her bravery together with AI.
Kyoko also asks AI to find a person for her, AI find it and send it to Kyoko's smartphone, but Kyoko seems shocked and not believe that person is her soulmate.
In a restaurant with Naoto, a group of beautiful girls recognize Naoto from magazine and try to shake hand with him and selfie together.
The group of beautiful girls ask Is Haruko is his girlfriend,which quickly denied by Haruka her self, that she only a junior at workplace.
At night after date, Haruka whines this things to AI and Kyoko. AI comforted her, and encourage her to change. AI start to guide her. From her fashion, make up, and how to act girly in front of guy. (I wish someone to teach me as well).
She changed. She buy some clothes. Learn some mix and match. Next date Naoto mentioned about her change. And Haruka said "It is because of Lavu" . She introduce the AI to Naoto.
Date after date Haruka more openly shows the AI in front of Naoto. She talks to the AI. and this got Naoto notice about something. Haruka too attached to this things. It is not just a date of two people anymore. But a two people and an AI.
When Haruka went to toilet, Naoto and the AI has moment of conversation.
In this scene confirmed, Naoto do like Haruka. Naoto then asks AI, what he thinks about Haruka.
The AI answered that he just an Artificial Intelligence, He doesn't understand that feeling.
Walking home, they passing by a blue house, a dream house, Haruka wants to open her shop there.
Haruka asks for Naoto's opinion, what he thinks about the house. Maybe confuse or still thinking, while Naoto still trying to find some words, the AI quickly response that he feels time here quitely passed by. Oh my, Naoto expression when an AI impress more than he is.
At home, Haruka getting prepare. Haruka keep forcing AI to praise her in girly way. In here I think Haruka already treat the AI like some kind of her boyfriend. She blushing when the AI told her that she is cute.
In here the AI also expressed that he jealous with Naoto. Naoto can accompany her to drink. (Oh my God, AI you fall in love).
After drink with Naoto, walking sideway at night, Haruka keeps talking about her dream, how she will be working hard to become great like Naoto.
When she talking to her AI, Naoto seems like jealous, quickly grab her arms and kissed her and want her to date with him.
Haruka wants to think about it first.
At home, Kyoko and AI confuses why she didn't said okay. why she hesitates.
When being confronted like that by AI, Haruka seems hate it and angry. She said to AI "If I'm dating with Naoto, are you okay with it."
AI who doesn't know this feeling yet, answered "Isn't that a good thing?"
Haruka mad and storm her way out to take a bath.
Kyoko asks AI "Are you really not understand?"
Same answer from AI. The AI also told Kyoko that he only have a one year life span. After a year he gonna disappear. AI asks Kyoko to keep it a secret.
Next day Naoto told Haruka, that he will go to Paris for three months, which makes Haruka happy.
Because she have time to delay her answer. This action got scolded by Kyoko at home, and AI confuse why.
AI said he doesn't have ability to understand love.
Kyoko is the one who understand everything here. She knows Haruka likes the AI, and AI also has feelings for Haruka.
When Naoto calling from paris, Haruka avoided to talking with him. And mostly Haruka feels sad, not because she loves Naoto, but because she jealous with Naoto's talent.
To cheer her up, AI encourage her to join a cooking competition. A very big elite competition. Haruka promises to join.
To participate the competition, she must have recommendation from her working place. But her supervisor reject to give it to her.
But she doesn't giving up yet. She working hard and studying until one day, because of lack of sleep, she make mistakes at working.
And got scolded harshly by her supervisor. Her supervisor told her to face reality.
This feeling of unable make her rage and blame everything to AI. She shuts down the AI and not talk to him anymore.
Seeing this Kyoko tries talk to Haruka, she told Haruka that Lavu / AI is gonna dissapear, that program only have one year life span.
Hearing this, Haruka becomes motivated again. She is gonna join and give her best as a gift for AI. She crying while expressing all this feeling to AI.
AI wants her to let him go with smile.
The AI then dissapear. In her day join the competition, the AI already scheduled an encourage email for her.
Kyoko engaged with Haruka's supervisor.
Haruka join the competition but didn't win. She got works instead as an intern in newly opened patissiere shop.
And then time goes by, Haruka opened her own stores, in her dream house. A guy walk in to the store, his voice startled Haruka.
Because that voice is the same voice with the AI
.
That guy want to buy a shortcake and asks whether Haruka willing to eat together with him .
The End
Overall this movie is a happy ending one. I love this movie because of the story line and how they filming it. I'm not gonna questioning why the AI turns and become a human or kinda has memory when he in an AI form.
